Across fifteen communities in the Tolon District, students are actively preparing for the upcoming School Clubs Jamboree under the AWDF KASA Project implemented by Sung Foundation.

In the participating schools, student clubs have been engaging in a series of training and rehearsal sessions focused on activities such as quizzes, drama, poetry, and debates. These creative learning platforms are designed to help students better understand and communicate key messages on child marriage, gender-based violence, teenage pregnancy, child protection, and the importance of keeping girls in school.
While each school club is supported by dedicated teacher patrons who guide the students during their preparations, the Sung Foundation project team has also been making regular monitoring visits to the schools. These visits provide mentorship, guidance, and encouragement to the students as they refine their performances and strengthen their understanding of the issues they will be presenting during the Jamboree.

The monitoring sessions also allow the project team to assess progress, support teachers in coordinating club activities, and ensure that the students are well prepared for the upcoming event.
The School Clubs Jamboree will bring together students from the fifteen participating communities to showcase their knowledge and creativity through drama performances, poetry recitals, debates, and quizzes. Through these activities, students will raise awareness on the harmful effects of child marriage, gender-based violence, and other practices that threaten the wellbeing and future of girls.
By engaging young people as advocates for change, the initiative is helping to build a generation that is informed, confident, and committed to protecting the rights and futures of girls in their communities.
