Sung Foundation was represented by our Climate Change Officer, Amin Khadija Gombila, at a two-day workshop of the Ghana Participatory Learning Platform (PLP) held at UDS, Tamale.
The workshop, established by WASCAL and its research partners, brought together researchers, government institutions, traditional authorities, farmer organisations and civil society actors to share knowledge and strengthen collaboration around Sustainable Land Management (SLM).
Discussions focused on findings from the DecLaRe Project, land tenure dynamics in Northern Ghana, sustainable land management practices, Ghana’s Land Act, climate resilience and Integrated Soil Fertility Management.
The engagement provided an opportunity to share perspectives from civil society and deepen connections between research, policy and community-level practice.
As the PLP initiative comes to an end, we are grateful for the knowledge and partnerships gained through this valuable platform.
